Anyone who ever read this blog before knows that in autumn 2009 I suffered a painful defeat, one of my biggest failures. I launched a prop bet and tried to reach SNE in an absurd amount of time and I failed. Now I allow myself to revise my mistake.

I’m still not even for the year but at least I had a winning month. I started the month with cashgame and ended it with rakeback grinding SNGs. I did okay but not great in 6-max cash, but than donated all in HU cash. I did well in SNGs and made about 2k€, despite mostly [...]

I’m going to play various FTOPS events this weekend. I’ll also take a shot in the 2,5k 2-Day FTOPS. I’m really excited for this. It’s very likely going to be the last big online-tournament weekend ever unless I move away.

It’s not official or anything, but even the most optimistic people regarding cash legalisation said that they don’t expect cashgame to be introduced within April. That sucks, but I think it does also a lot of good things.

Unfortunately I’ve to lower my sights once again. It’s a long way till Vegas and it’s even longer if you go in the opposite direction. I don’t want to whine once again, I’ll be giving a recap about the last couple of days and I’ll be talking about lower expectation.

Well, this year could have started definitely better. Don’t get me wrong, my start into 2010 was good, but talking specifically about poker 2010 so far is cruel. Now even the message that cashgame won’t be introduced mid march circulates. There are sources what think it needs at least another 2 months.

I know of no single human beeing down more than 100 buyins in equity playing stts. Hell, I even know people who never had a 50 buyin downswing in there entire career. I’m knocked over and I don’t feel like I’m able to do this anymore. I wanted to quit SNGs a long time ago [...]

I never thought that it is possible to have a losing month as a SNG-player. I’ve played already 2,2k SNGs and I’m down almost 1k with rakeback. Luckily today is just the 17th and I’m pretty confident that I will catch up and end the month somewhat placable.
