Anyone who ever read this blog before knows that in autumn 2009 I suffered a painful defeat, one of my biggest failures. I launched a prop bet and tried to reach SNE in an absurd amount of time and I failed. Now I allow myself to revise my mistake.

I’m still not even for the year but at least I had a winning month. I started the month with cashgame and ended it with rakeback grinding SNGs. I did okay but not great in 6-max cash, but than donated all in HU cash. I did well in SNGs and made about 2k€, despite mostly [...]

Unfortunately I’ve to lower my sights once again. It’s a long way till Vegas and it’s even longer if you go in the opposite direction. I don’t want to whine once again, I’ll be giving a recap about the last couple of days and I’ll be talking about lower expectation.

I know of no single human beeing down more than 100 buyins in equity playing stts. Hell, I even know people who never had a 50 buyin downswing in there entire career. I’m knocked over and I don’t feel like I’m able to do this anymore. I wanted to quit SNGs a long time ago [...]

I never thought that it is possible to have a losing month as a SNG-player. I’ve played already 2,2k SNGs and I’m down almost 1k with rakeback. Luckily today is just the 17th and I’m pretty confident that I will catch up and end the month somewhat placable.

I re-started playing seriously the last couple of days. Played a couple of tournaments (mostly FTOPs) and little bit of cashgame ($2/4). Actually really enjoyed cash, but I’ve made some calcs what lead me to the decision that I re-start playing SNGs.

Title nails it, I forfeit. Thanks for the support, especially on assopoker.com. I am not happy, but grinding 14 hours a day nonstop is not worth the money.

Starte in ein paar Stunden in Richtung Flughafen und dann geht’s nach Cardiff. Werde nachmittags dort eintreffen und übernachte bis Montag im Hilton. Spielen werde ich das Main Event der GUKPT Cardiff, ein £1060 3-Day-Event.
