My name is Tobias Huber, I am a professional poker player and owner of this site. I play poker since September 2006 and turned professional in December 2008.
I was born in August 1988 in Germany and grow up in Meran / South Tyrol. I graduated 2007 from a commercial school and attended university after. After thing gone better and better with poker I decided to play part time poker and to spend the rest of time to university. However, thing at university did not went good because I reject to go constantly at university. Finally I took a break and thereafter I quit to become a full time pro.
My bread-and-butter games are mid-high stakes SNGs and mid stakes 6-max cash. If it wasn’t for the money I’d play just high stakes MTTs. I usually don’t play much live because I really like playing online but my biggest success so far happened live in October 2007. I took 2nd in a small 1k€ MTT for about 31.000€. I’ve had couple of nice scores online as well. In autumn 2009 I launched a $15k prop-bet that I could reach SNE within 70 days (about 20k SNGs) but I failed badly. I think I learned a lot from that experience. In spring 2010 I signed for Punto Quota, a local sports betting provider. Right now I can’t wait for the introduction of cashgame on the Italian poker sites.
