First of all, sorry that i didn’t update the blog for a long time. The heading says everything, there are many changes that i am facing the next time. The first change will be that I say goodbye to the german language in that blog. Writing english should be a good training for my next experiences i am going to have next month.
I’am quitting the life in Austria and I’m moving to the UK. More precisely said I’m moving to Birmingham, which I know a bit from my last vaction there. The reason for that are not only that I feel safer to play Poker in the UK, another argument is also that i really like England and their people. So the choice for me to emigrate in the UK is or was pretty easy. I am going to add more on that issue soon in my next blog entry.
Now we come closer to the main theme. Of course Omaha. I’am feeling pretty comfortable at my current limit which is 5/10. I think i have a pretty big edge on some regulars, which is of cours nice. I also think i have now a good table feeling and I’am defintely getting better at PLO HU. Unfortately the results are not very good due to the fact that I’m 18 stacks under EV which you will see at my graph.
It is really a good feeling to know that you are playing good poker and i am proud of myself that i have not tilted for a long time which is in Omaha very important. I think my mind set is clear and I am feeling great to play every day a few hours. I know that I can improve my game more but I am satisfied overall during this time.
In the end I am going to show you my 5/10 graph and wish you good luck at the tables.

uk is awesome, but have you considered malta? couple of months ago i did some research about malta, flats are moderatly cheep, immigration is not really complicated and there are no taxes to pay. spoken language is english as well.
ur doing great at 5/10, how many hands have you played lifetime at this limit? gotta book u as a coach sooner or later :)
I thought about malta, but except the climate (which would be good for me because my dry skin dont like cold weather), I cant find good arguments why I should go to Malta instead of moving to the UK
The good think is also, i know the city of Birmingham and their train lines and i am living central in the UK, half an hour away from London, Liverpool, Manchester away (which is really cool).
I am going to rent a house near one of the train stations (cross city line, which end at the New Street Station). And the houses are not very expensive, i think you would pay more in Austria for it than in the UK (by the way in Austria you cant really rent a house near the city centre)

god id love to move away at least for 7-8 months a year but dunno its a taff decision
Hello homer, really glad you are taking the opportunity! I’m planning on doing the same thing very near in the future. About Omaha. I was playing cashgame NL 6 max for a long time and want to add Omaha to my game. I’ve been playing PLO100 6 max so far. Are you giving any coaching? And what would be your rates and so on :)
Yeah I’m giving coachings. Prices depends on the Limit and the form of the coaching (discussing hand histories or playing live or discussing a Video you have made on your own game and so on) you want. I would say prices are around 200 $/hour, which i think is very fair compared with the coaches on dc/leggo…
